It is with great sadness that DTSGB has learned about the death of John Newstead, after a long and courageous battle against illness. John played an vital role in in DTSGB for many years, not only as the husband and coach to Isabel Newstead (multiple Paralympic, World, European and British pistol champion), but also in many other roles. He was a much respected person, not only in DTSGB, but also in the worldwide shooting community and as a friend to us all.
He will be missed by all of us who had the honour of knowing him.
